Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program Groups
Ending violence against women involves working with and educating men about the different forms of abuse, the effects of violence on children, the pattern of violent behaviour and developing alternatives to physical, emotional and financial abuse. Rexdale Women's Centre offers groups for court-mandated offenders to better understand the consequences and impact of violence against women, work on accepting responsibility for their violent behaviour and to develop strategies to deal with anger.

Partner Assault Response Program - Spousal, Partner, Victim Contact
When court-mandated male offenders attend the Partner Assault Response Program Groups, Rexdale Women's Centre's staff maintain regular contact with their spouse or partner. Through these contact, we ensure the safety of the women and children. Many Dates and Times the partners tell us that they feel safer as a result to their spouse or partner attending the group for men.
